How to manage a Directory’s Index in cPanel

The Index Manager allows you to customize the way a directory will be viewed on the web.
To configure your directory settings, perform the following steps:

1 – Open cPanel (yourdomain/cpanel).
2 – Click on (Indexes) from Advanced section.
3 – In the Directory Selection window, Navigate to the desired folder.
4 – Select one of the following options:
Default System Setting.
No Indexing – (If you do not wish for people to be able to see the files in your directory).
Standard Indexing – (filename only).
Fancy Indexing – (filename and description).
5 – Click Save.
